Notes

'Truth' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Truth') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The pure white flowers are full and rose type, with high built blooms and few, if any, stamens. Strong stems hold the flowers up on plants that stand 30 inches tall. The medium green leaves are wide.

Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Switchgrass, and Stargazer lily.
