Notes

Tube clematis (Clematis heracleifolia) is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its fragrant blue flowers attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall, so give it room to spread up to 48 inches.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Black-eyed Susan, and Purple top.

Central Asia, Asia, and Manchuria.
