Notes

Tulip (Tulipa fosteriana) is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. The large flowers open in vivid scarlet from early to late spring. Its gray-green leaves stand erect, so plant the bulbs in groups for a bold show.

Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Maiden pink, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
