Notes

'Twinkles' peony (Paeonia 'Twinkles') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001. The deep pink blooms have white veining and darker flares, and they open from early to late spring.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Mock orange, and Black Parrot tulip.
