Notes
'Ultima' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ultima') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it in 1942. The wide petalled flowers have a rose form and open creamy white tinted blush.
Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Cheerfulness daffodil, Sedge, and Bobo hydrangea.
