Notes

Upright myrtle spurge (Euphorbia rigida) is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The blue-green evergreen foliage looks good all year. Green flowers with showy yellow bracts open in spring and again in summer, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Silver sage, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Society garlic.
