Notes

'Uproar Rose' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Uproar Rose') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Pink blooms open from early to late summer and again from early to late autumn. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Snapdragon, Spider flower, and First Knight fountain grass.
