Notes

'Valerie Jeanne' rose (Rosa 'Valerie Jeanne') is a shrub for borders, containers, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The deep pink, fragrant blooms appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. F. Harmon Saville bred it in 1981. It stays upright and compact, reaching about 30 inches tall.

Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, Ornamental onion, Stained Glass hosta, and Johnny jump up.
