Notes

'Vanille Fraise' rose (Rosa 'Vanille Fraise') is a vine for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen use, and you can also grow it in a container. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The red blend blooms are fragrant and attract bees. It flowers in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Robert Laperrière bred it.

Pairs well with Sarah Bernhardt peony, Blue fescue, and Sweet William.
