Notes

Crabapple (Malus zumi var. calocarpa) is a tree for borders and specimen planting, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. White flowers are fragrant and attract bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds. It tolerates drought once settled in.
