Notes

'Variegata' Japanese pachysandra (Pachysandra terminalis 'Variegata') is a perennial for ground cover, border, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. Fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The evergreen plants creep slowly, so they fill a shady bed over time.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Sweet woodruff.
