Notes

'Variegata' lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis 'Variegata') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to wet, loamy or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Small, white, single flowers appear above pale green leaves with creamy white stripes. The blooms are fragrant.

Pairs well with Snake Eyes hosta, Marginal wood fern, and Glory-of-the-snow.
