Notes

'Bordeaux' lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis 'Bordeaux') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland plantings, ground cover, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to wet, loamy or clay soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows slowly and spreads 12 to 24 inches, so give it room. The flowers are fragrant and open in spring.

Pairs well with Undulata hosta, Brilliance autumn fern, and Jack Frost Siberian bugloss.
