Notes

'Albostriata' lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis 'Albostriata') is a perennial for ground cover, shade gardens, woodland, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to wet, loamy or clay soil. Its spreading habit makes it a useful groundcover under deciduous trees, and the fragrance is a spring classic. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Growth is slow, so give it time to fill in.

Pairs well with Undulata hosta, Variegatum Solomon's seal, Brilliance autumn fern, and Jack Frost Siberian bugloss.
