Notes
'Variegated' weigela (Weigela Florida 'Variegated') is a shrub for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and hummingbirds visit the flowers. It grows about 4 to 6 feet tall and wide, so give it room.
Pairs well with Columbine, Shasta daisy, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
