Notes
'Variegatus' eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Variegatus') is a grass for borders, specimens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Reddish-brown flowers appear in summer and autumn and attract birds. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The arching clumps reach 60 to 108 inches tall and tolerate drought and salt.
Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Japanese forest grass, Ornamental onion, and Sundrops.
