Notes

'Venus' rose (Rosa 'Venus') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright plant has light pink, fragrant blooms that open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Keith W. Zary bred it in 1997.

Pairs well with Sweet pepperbush, Japanese forest grass, Lily, and Blue jasmine.
