Notes
'Venus' tulip (Tulipa 'Venus') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms in early to late spring and has rose-colored flowers. Plant the bulbs in fall so they can settle in before the spring show. Krelage & Son introduced it in 1913.
Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Cat's Pajamas nepeta, and Cytherea peony.
