Notes

'Vernon Rickard' rose (Rosa 'Vernon Rickard') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Pink blend blooms are fragrant and open from early to late summer. Bees visit the flowers, and the dark green leaves set off the color. Fred and Barbara Wright bred it in 2019.

Pairs well with Royal Purple smoketree, Perennial candytuft, and Switchgrass.
