Notes
'Vesta' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Vesta') is a perennial for borders and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Kelway bred it. The single, blush to light pink blooms open in early to mid spring on compact, upright plants. The flowers are large, and the plant blooms freely.
Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Virginia spiderwort, and Sensitive fern.
