Notes
'Vesuvio' arctic daisy (Chrysanthemum 'Vesuvio') is a perennial for borders, mass plantings, and cutting gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun. Its anemone-style blooms have quilled petals up to three inches wide, and bees visit them late in the season. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn.
Pairs well with Purple sage, Lemongrass, Labyrinth dahlia, and Mondo grass.
