Notes
'Vicki' clematis (Clematis 'Vicki') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, specimen plantings, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Deep pink flowers with darker stripes open in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Mogens Nyegaard Olesen bred it in 2019.
Pairs well with Paris coral bells, Little bluestem, and Susan magnolia.
