Notes

'Vintage Wine' aloalo (Hibiscus 'Vintage Wine') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers, which open in early to late summer. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall and 47 to 59 inches wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Black-eyed Susan, and Stonecrop.
