'Vitellina' tulip (Tulipa 'Vitellina') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The soft primrose flowers open from early to late spring. Cut a few stems for a vase while the rest keep blooming in the garden.
Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Cat's Pajamas nepeta, and Cytherea peony.
