Notes
'Viva' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Viva') is a tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. Viva has a columnar shape and blooms from early to late spring, so butterflies and bees visit the flowers. You grow it for fresh eating. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for fruit.
Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Charles Joly lilac, and Hosta.
