Notes
'Waldaffa' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Waldaffa') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers are white with a tinge of lilac, so they stand out against green foliage. Cut the blooms for bouquets once the buds begin to open. Max Josef Goos bred it.
Pairs well with Hosta, Cinnamon fern, Knapweed, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
