Notes
'Waltz' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Waltz') is a perennial for borders, cutting gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Its rose pink blooms have yellow centers and open from mid to late spring into early summer. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Roy G. Klehm bred it.
Pairs well with Black Hero tulip, Blue sage, and Foxtail barley.
