Notes
'Warrenii' sulphur cinquefoil (Potentilla recta 'Warrenii') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It bears lemon yellow flowers in spring and again in summer. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Nodding onion, and Foxtail barley.
