Notes
'Wavelength' peony (Paeonia 'Wavelength') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single coral-pink flowers are fragrant and bloom early, and bees and butterflies visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Professor Harald Fawkner bred it.
Pairs well with Standing Ovation little bluestem, Autumn Frost hosta, and Polish Spirit clematis.
