Notes
'Wee Willie' peony (Paeonia 'Wee Willie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It forms a dense, bushy green mound with neat, single red flowers that are fragrant. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Clustered bellflower, Fragrant Bouquet hosta, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
