Notes

'Welldone' peony (Paeonia 'Welldone') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Red or cherry-red flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with May Night salvia, September Charm anemone, and Cornflower.
