Notes

'Weserbergland' fountain grass (Cenchrus alopecuroides 'Weserbergland') is a grass for borders, mass planting, and fall color. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Pinkish white blooms appear in mid to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. It grows 18 to 30 inches tall and spreads 24 to 36 inches. Once settled in, it is drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Blue flag, and Japanese maple.
