Notes

'White Butterfly' rose (Rosa 'White Butterfly') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its compact habit and leathery foliage suit small spaces. The fragrant white flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and once more in early autumn, and bees visit them. Frank Spanbauer bred it in 1954.

Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Switchgrass, and Tiger lily.
