Notes

'White Delight' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'White Delight') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large white double blooms are rose fragrant and open early in spring. Tall stems make good cuts, and the blooms last well in a vase. Edward Auten, Jr. bred it.

Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Royal fern, and Shrub rose.
