Notes

'White Jade' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'White Jade') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The white flowers are double and cupped, with pale jade green reflections in the center. They have a rich rose fragrance and open in mid to late spring and early summer. Alice bred it as a seedling of 'Festiva Maxima'.

Pairs well with Royal fern, Spanish bluebell, and Shrub rose.
