Notes

'White Pearl' red baneberry (Actaea matsumurae 'White Pearl') is a perennial for shade borders, fragrant plantings, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average moisture. Long spires of fragrant white flowers arch above dissected green foliage from late summer into fall. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms, and small birds eat the seeds in fall and winter.

Pairs well with Astilbe, Bracken, and Pink Impression tulip.
