Notes

White sagebrush (Artemisia ludoviciana) is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet soil of most types. The silvery stems and fragrant leaves spread quickly to form large colonies, so give it room. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It becomes leggy in fertile, moist soils, so keep the soil lean.

Pairs well with Paprika yarrow, Showy milkweed, and Foxtail barley.
