Notes

'Silver King' white sagebrush (Artemisia ludoviciana 'Silver King') is a perennial for naturalized plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet soil. It forms a fragrant, drought tolerant clump 24 to 36 inches tall and wide. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Yellowish-gray blooms appear in spring, summer, and early autumn.

Pairs well with Gladiator ornamental onion, Sedge, and Prickly-pear.
