Notes

'Who says' rose mallow (Hibiscus moscheutos 'Who says') is a perennial for borders, rain gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy or loamy soil. Red blooms with a deeper red eye open from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Little bluestem, and False indigo.
