Notes
Anemone (Anemone cylindrica) is a perennial for meadow gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to average soil. Greenish-white flowers rise on erect stems in late spring and early to mid summer. Each bloom has an elongated center like a thimble, and after frost it matures to a cottony tuft.
Pairs well with Blue grama, Evening primrose, and Switchgrass.
