Notes

Snowdrop anemone (Anemone sylvestris) is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It bears fragrant white flowers with yellow stamens in spring and again in summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The plant stays 12 to 18 inches tall, so it works well at the front of a shady bed.

Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, Ostrich fern, Wood lily, and Swamp azalea.
