Notes

'Winterthur' peony (Paeonia 'Winterthur') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The large single blooms open palest pink and turn white. The leaves are large, and the flowers are fragrant.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Annabelle hydrangea, Queen of Night tulip, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
