Notes
'Wonderous Meeting' peony (Paeonia 'Wonderous Meeting') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, creamy-yellow single blooms open early in spring on upright stems that need no support, and butterflies and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Nodding onion, and Christmas fern.
