Notes
'Wonderous Spectacle' peony (Paeonia 'Wonderous Spectacle') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its yellow double blooms have a subtle fragrance, and the upright stems reach 28 inches without support. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Roger F. Anderson bred it.
Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, and Blue grama.
