Notes
'Wonderous Spirit' peony (Paeonia 'Wonderous Spirit') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, yellow, semi-double blooms have hints of pink flares, and the upright stems need no support. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Roger F. Anderson bred it in 2020.
Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Annabelle hydrangea, and Blue grama.
