Notes

'Woodsman' magnolia (Magnolia brooklynensis 'Woodsman') is a tree for specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It blooms in late spring with flowers in a mix of green, yellow, pink, and purple. The tree grows 20 to 30 feet tall and spreads 12 to 20 feet wide, so give it plenty of room.

Pairs well with Buckeye, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Climbing hydrangea.
