'Wynanda' heather (Calluna vulgaris 'Wynanda') is an evergreen shrub for borders, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows at a moderate rate with an ascending habit. Bees visit the flowers in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Hinoki cypress, Prairie dropseed, and Pink Impression tulip.
