Notes

'Firefly' heather (Calluna vulgaris 'Firefly') is a shrub for borders, rock gardens, pollinator gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It stays evergreen and grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide. Bees visit the flowers, and the plant does best in acid soil.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Hinoki cypress, Bristlecone pine, and Pink Impression tulip.
