Notes
'Xia Ri Huan Zhang' peony (Paeonia 'Xia Ri Huan Zhang') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, light-salmon single flowers face upward and attract butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The name means summer fantasy, for the flower color and bloom season.
Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Little bluestem, and White Feather hosta.
