Notes
'Xiang Yun Sha {Sweet Silk}' peony (Paeonia 'Xiang Yun Sha {Sweet Silk}') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The fragrant semi-double flowers are white with a pale-pink champagne overlay, and they face outward on thick, erect stems. The stems stand up well, so the plant needs no support.
Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Little bluestem, and Black Parrot tulip.
